New to Church

Welcome! Our services are accessible for those who aren’t Christians and are new to church. You don’t need to have been to church before, it’s a relaxed environment where you can just observe or take part in as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

What should I expect?

It can be intimidating to visit a church – especially if it is your first time. We invite you to experience what the gospel of Jesus Christ means both intellectually and relationally in our Sunday worship service. We usually have a number of people who aren’t Christians so feel free to engage with others as much as you want or just come and go anonymously if you prefer.

What about bringing kids?

Children of all ages are very welcome. We have two groups for children; Kingdom Kids for ages 3-11 and a creche for children under 3.

  • Kingdom Kids (Terrace Gallery room) go out 10 minutes into the service for age appropriate activities including a Bible story, songs, games and crafts.
  • Creche starts 10 minutes before the service (Garden room - one of our Welcome team can direct you to its location).

All our leaders are fully DBS checked.
